Are you an experienced project leader with a background in client-side building construction and a passion for delivering high-quality infrastructure outcomes? We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to take the reins on complex projects and drive them from concept to completion.You'll manage end-to-end project delivery with a focus on quality, compliance, stakeholder satisfaction, and value-for-money outcomes. This is a strategic role where your leadership, technical knowledge, and business acumen will directly influence the success of major construction projects.Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:Prepare comprehensive project management plans, select delivery methodologies, assess risks, and manage lifecycle considerations.Ensure compliance with organizational policies, approvals, and WHS standards.Consultant Procurement & Management:Prepare project briefs, consultant tenders, and terms of reference.Ensure design aligns with project intent, statutory requirements, and cost-effectiveness.Contractor Procurement & Delivery:Develop tenders for traditional and D&C contracts aligned with Australian Standards.Act as Principal’s Representative and Contract Superintendent.Professional Expertise:Draw on your experience in managing capital works and upgrades from a client-side perspective.Apply your knowledge of construction law, industry practices, and stakeholder roles.Business Acumen & Communication:Prepare project reports, manage stakeholders, and achieve time/cost/quality targets.Track profitability, manage approvals, and maintain audit-ready documentation.Leadership:Lead and mentor internal and external teams across multiple projects.Provide guidance and oversight to junior project managers.What You Bring:Qualifications in building construction or a related field.Demonstrated experience in managing client-side construction projects.Strong understanding of procurement, contract law, and design/construction processes.Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to lead by example.If you are interested and would like to know more, please apply now or contact Mellissa McGregor on 0480 735 798
