With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hour's drive from the CBD, Melbourne's North is fast becoming the place to be!The Role:An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Educator Oncology Haemotology 0.8 EFT to join the team at Northern Health.The Clinical Nurse Educator Oncology Haemotology is an important leader within the clinical team, and a role model of excellence in clinical practice and life-long learning. Supporting all level of learners through the coordination of program development, delivery and evaluation for specifically the Oncology Haemotology Programs of NH. The role also manages a team of Clinical Support Nurses who are employed in the Oncology Haemotology Programs.To be successful in this role you will have:
- Post graduate qualification in relevant specialty (oncology/haemotology/palliative care/education or similar)
- Diploma or Master's degree in relevant specialty (or working towards)
- Current AHPRA nursing midwife registration
- ADAC trained and facilitator
- Current National Police and Working with Children History Check
- Professional membership relevant nurses /midwifes association
- 3 years acute experience
- Relevant experience in clinical education and knowledge of undergraduate programs and supervision
- Current knowledge of oncology haemotology specialty care strategies
- Experience in supervision and training
- Highly Effective communication skills
- Excellent team collaborative skills
