Reporting to the Workshop supervisor, the Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics will complete rebuilds and component change outs on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment. The variety of equipment includes D10T Dozers, 992K Wheel Loaders, 16M Graders and a wide range of models of Off Highway Trucks (785C - 785D). This work will be completed in a collaborative, team environment with a strong focus on safety.Location: Murrin MurrinRoster: FIFO from Perth - 7 days on, 7 nights on, 7 days off (12 hour shifts)To be successful the following is required:
  • Australian-recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post trade experience
  • Familiar with CAT or Komatsu products
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Heavy equipment product knowledge - Component change out experience seen as advantageous
  • Be well aligned and exhibit WesTrac's SPARC values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer
