- Indicative Total Remuneration: $409,621 - $620,068
- Provide clinical services of the highest standard in the Emergency Department across a 24/7 roster
- Work with limited or no direction, exercising a high degree of professional judgment and clinical competence in a multi-disciplinary setting
- Take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day management of the clinical floor
- Respond to hospital MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls as required by allocation on shift
- Provide supervision, training, and direction to more junior staff as needed
- Participate in teaching and quality assurance activities, while also engaging in health promotion and community education initiatives
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
- Must hold a specialist qualification with the following colleges - RACGP, ACRRM and ACEM and be registrable as a specialist with AHPRA
- Granted specialist registration by the medical board for relevant specialty e.g. G/P, ACEM.
