About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled M365 / Power Platform Specialist to support the delivery of a key digital transformation initiative with one of our established mining client. This role will focus on centralising and streamlining Microsoft 365 applications, governance frameworks, and automating business processes to drive collaboration, efficiency, and standardisation across teams and regions. You’ll be joining a collaborative, Agile team (two-week sprints) led by a supportive and forward-thinking product owner. The work is technically complex, with future plans to incorporate AI, including Generative AI.This contract assignment is for 12months to begin and with high possibilities for extension due to huge pipeline of work.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and advise on MS Power Platform governance and M365 environment setup
  • Configure and support PowerApps, Power BI workspaces, and Dataverse environments
  • Migrate legacy, unmanaged Power BI and PowerApps assets into governed structures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to deliver artefacts, configurations, and documentation
  • Develop and automate business processes using Power Platform tools
  • Monitor platform usage to inform training and adoption strategies
  • Maintain existing solutions and ensure compliance with Application Lifecycle Management processes
  • Act as the primary M365 point of contact across internal teams
About You:
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform architecture
  • Proven experience deploying governed M365 environments and automating workflows
  • Skilled in managing and enriching complex SharePoint Online environments
  • Proficiency in custom plug-in development for model-driven apps
  • Familiar with PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) is a bonus
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and time management skills
