NFP - based in East Gippsland $78K + Super + NFP/PBI Salary PackagingThe Organisation:Our client is a leading Disability Support Services organisation. A values driven and reputable community services leader making difference for those who require some assistance in finding independence.
The Role:You will lead a small team delivering services in a residential home in Bairnsdale. You will ensure people supported receive the highest level of care. You will work with a dedicated and impactful team of specialist support peers. In addition, you will be supported and coached by a professional team of managers, who are experts in Positive Behaviour Support, and a person-centred approach.
Reporting to the Operations Manager - you will:
- Supervise the operations of the Supported Independent Living service with regular reporting
- Manage all aspects of team performance
- Lead and plan support for people with disabilities within their home and community
- Regularly update people you support and their families
You’ll be driven and show genuine passion for building capability within your team. In addition, you:
- Are a natural leader; modelling a positive attitude, professional conduct and unwavering commitment to quality outcomes
- Must hold or be working towards an Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management or equivalent qualification
- Possess experience and knowledge in the field of disability
- Have an understanding and familiarity with NDIS funding and planning processes
- Are passionate about supporting people with mental health and intellectual disability
- Possess Knowledge of and skill with coaching, supervision, and planning practices
- Possess a current unrestricted Australian Driver’s License
