In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as Instrument Technician in our Central Sterilising department at our Fitzroy campus.This role will be part time / casual , working up to 36 hours per week and will be pivotal in maintaining service within the existing Department and then transition to a new expanded Department currently under construction. The new department is due to commence operations mid to late 2024.
You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with a small team of experienced Instrument Technicians to support the Operating Suite which caters for a diverse range of surgical specialities.WHY WORK FOR SVPHM:

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding Instrument Technician, you are a master at providing service in a timely and efficient manner.
Your skills will include:
  • Instrument Technician qualifications Certificate III or IV
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Knowledge of relevant Sterilisation Standards
  • Knowledge of surgical instrumentation
  • Willingness to work/learn to work in all areas involved in a Sterilising Department
