- Proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies before they impact employees.
- Building strong working relationships across HR, Finance, and operational teams to ensure payroll processes run smoothly.
- Deliver accurate, timely payroll services to all employees, ensuring queries are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Provide consistent support across all trading days to align with operational team needs.
- Process and reconcile end-to-end payroll, ensuring legislative and policy compliance.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, reporting, and reconciliations to meet financial deadlines.
- Identify process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
- Share payroll expertise to build confidence and capability across the team and broader business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve shared goals and champion best practice.
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a medium-to-large organisation.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation, and modern awards/enterprise agreements.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly to non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with HR, Finance, and operational teams.
