Your new company is a well-established civil construction and infrastructure company with multiple decades of experience. They have multiple branches of the business and are currently in need of experienced workshop manager to look after their workshop facility which services their large fleet of mobile plant equipment and heavy vehicles.Role
In your role as the workshop manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all workshop related duties, assigning work orders to the fitters, ensuring work orders are completed on time and to the required spec. You will also provide breakdown support when required as well as logging all maintenance activities and part usage.Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a workshop manager or supervisor in a similar environment/industry
- Relevant trade qualifications - diesel fitter/heavy diesel mechanic
- Strong diesel motor, hydraulic, and electric over hydraulic knowledge
- Strong WHS knowledge
- Currently located in Townsville or looking to relocate there permanently
