
Procurement Specialist - Oracle ERP

- Understand and translate business needs and user stories into implementable functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders to capture and validate requirements.
- Model and document procurement and sourcing end to end processes to support solution design and configuration.
- Ensure functional requirements are clearly understood by technical architects and development teams.
- Review system demos and prototypes to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Participate in the development of test scenarios and scripts for system testing and UAT.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of test results to confirm business requirements are met.
- Support defect triage and resolution during testing cycles.
- Contribute to the change management plan, including communication strategies and training materials.
- Support user onboarding and training activities, ensuring users are prepared for the new system.
- Act as a trusted liaison between the project team and end users to facilitate adoption and feedback.
- Assist with data migration planning, cleansing, transformation, and validation.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data integrity and readiness.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Build strong relationships with procurement and business stakeholders to ensure trust and collaboration.
- Provide regular updates and insights to project leadership and governance forums.
- Challenge system integrators (SI) constructively to ensure solutions are user-centric and fit-for-purpose.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline.
- CIPS or equivalent procurement certification preferred.
- Oracle Procurement Cloud certifications or training (if applicable) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing processes including sourcing, supplier management, contract lifecycle, and procurement analytics.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP (or similar ERP platforms) is highly desirable, especially experience with Procurement modules and EPM.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into system requirements and configurations.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in change management and user engagement during system implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
