It offers a wide range of specialist medical services, including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Cardiology, Renal Medicine, Palliative Care, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Intensive Care, and Anaesthetics. Additionally, various clinical services are provided on a visiting basis from tertiary hospitals in Queensland. The hospital also features a new Cancer Care Unit equipped with state-of-the-art technology to provide advanced care for local patients.
The Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- AHPRA Level 3 supervision
- If qualifications were obtained outside of Australia, you must be eligible for registration with AHPRA with Level 3 supervision and provide the following:
- Evidence of successful completion of IELTS or equivalent English Language Test results within the last year,
- SIMG's with college assessment outcome
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is required.
