
Electrical Tradesperson

- Performing routine and corrective maintenance and fault repairs using best practices.
- Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) regulations and technical specifications.
- Keeping accurate records and documentation of asset conditions, maintenance activities, and costs.
- Reporting completed work against the scheduled program.
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of work procedures for continuous quality improvement.
- Week 1: Monday to Saturday - 0630 - 1430
- Week 2: Monday to Friday - 0630 - 1430
- Week 3: Monday to Friday - 1400 - 2200
- Holds a mandatory electrical trade qualification.
- Proficient in computer use.
- Possesses strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in repairing and maintaining locomotives and rolling stock is highly valued.
- Demonstrates robust fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Knowledgeable in relevant legislation, including the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
- Experience with locomotives and wagons is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a category 3 rail medical, which include drug and alcohol screening.
