  • Represent Arup and our clients as a technical expert in process engineering in the water sector (preference would be for wastewater but keen to hear from candidates in the water space too)
  • You will provide technical direction on projects and bids adding value and bringing excellence to everything you do.
  • You will work with the process team (both junior and senior team members) to provide technical direction and mentorship.
  • You will work on projects of all sizes where there are complex process issues that need to be solved, often in collaboration with our partners and clients.
  • You will allow us to grow our skills and capabilities in the area of process engineering for water sector projects.
What will I bring?
  • Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in chemical engineering or similar area.
  • Relevant industry experience in the water industry within a consulting business environment, in particular working directly with water utilities.
  • Ideally meet the highest level of Sydney Water’s engineering competency standard for treatment process (P4)
  • Ideally would be chartered through Engineers Australia or the Institute of Chemical Engineering with the ability to provide mentorship for more junior colleagues wanted to move through this process
  • Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines
