Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, the Serviceperson will join our Perth Branch team on a Full-Time basis. You will be working on a variety of Caterpillar equipment conducting various tasks. You will perform scheduled and daily maintenance of various Caterpillar equipment from mobile earthmoving, ancillary plant and power generation equipment.The Perth Branch Department at WesTrac specializes in providing cutting-edge machinery solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the mining and construction industry. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient Caterpillar equipment and service to enhance operational productivity and safety.Roster: 8Days, 6 Off - 12.5hours per day (including a meal break)What You'll Do:
  • Perform scheduled and daily maintenance servicing and inspections of mobile earthmoving equipment, ancillary plant and power generation equipment.
  • Maintain accurate lubricant records and machine hours of each equipment
  • Providing support to our Tradespersons through the maintenance process safely and efficiently
  • Report faults/defects and complete service reports using CAT inspect
Skills & Experience:
  • Heavy-Rigid Drivers Licence
  • Strong computer literacy with verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in maintenance servicing of heavy equipment (mobile plant/construction)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent customer service and safety focused
  • Confident to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team
