Fuse Recruitment are seeking an experience Store person with both High reach and Counter Balance Forklift Operating experience for an immediate start in Smithfield. This role will work across both day and afternoon shifts with start times ranging from 4am and finish times ranging up to 8pm. Monday to Friday role leading to a permanent position after three months.The Company

Shift times
  • Starts times from 4am to 10am daily
  • Finish times from 2pm to 8pm daily
Rates of Pay:
  • Day shift hours = $36 p/hr (Finish times before 6pm)
  • Afternoon shift hours = $41.40 p/hr (Finish times after 6pm)
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Operating high reach forklift up to 5 racks high
  • Counter balance forklift to load and unload trucks
  • Driving Toyota/Hyster brand forklift
  • Packaging finished goods
  • Will be required to go in and out of the production area occasionally
  • RF scanning
  • Manage and check documentations in the warehouse
  • Use of pallet wrapping machine
  • Must follow strict WHS policy and procedures on site
  • Manual handling duties up to 20kg
  • Dropping palletised stock to an air lock door for production teams
Skills and Requirements:
  • Store Person experience working in a Food manufacturing facility
  • Must have experience operating high reach and counterbalance forklift
  • Experience picking, putaways and replens up to 5 racks high
  • Experience loading and unloading trucks, B-doubles and semi trailers
  • Palletising and shrink wrapping experience
  • RF scanning experience
  • Must be prepared to spend 50% of your day not operating forklifts
  • Must be available to start daily from 4am and finish daily up to 8pm
  • Must have an LF forklift license
  • Follow strict WHS procedures on site
  • A positive attitude with attention to detail
  • Must be reliable and responsible at all times
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
