
Material Data Officer - ILS

- ILS Coordination & Documentation - Manage the development, review, and validation of technical data and ILS artefacts (e.g. CES, SDS, manuals, codification, RAM, FMECA) to ensure compliance with JC2 SPO logistics policies.
- Logistic Support Planning - Develop and implement SPO-level logistic support plans and procedures aligned with CASG policies for in-service equipment sustainment.
- Compliance & Assurance Oversight - Lead JC2 SPO compliance reporting and assurance activities, including SOP reviews, technical briefs, and impact statements for Defence Logistics.
- Process Improvement & Stakeholder Engagement - Drive continuous improvement initiatives and actively participate in technical meetings, reporting progress against plans and agreements.
- Standards & Systems Management - Manage SCAs and ensure services are delivered in accordance with SX000i, S2000M, S3000L, and S500F standards.
- Strong Data Science and Analytics experience within Defence, government, or professional services.
- Logistics Expertise & Defence Systems Knowledge - Demonstrated experience with MILIS (including CATDLM, Inventory Controller, Technical Manager profiles), codification catalogues, and CMT-L, with a strong understanding of CASG logistics processes.
- Qualifications & Training - Completion of key logistics training such as the Materiel Logistics Practitioners Course (MLPC), Certificate IV in Logistics Management, or Diploma of Material Logistics (or equivalent).
- Professional Attributes - Highly organised, action-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced environments, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
