Job Requisition ID: 39274Do you have expertise in AI and an interest in M&A?At Deloitte we are building and scaling a suite of AI powered products to speed up M&A due diligence, origination and deal execution. You'll leverage the latest technology to design, build, and productionise AI assets that help teams interrogate data rooms, extract and validate insights from structured/unstructured documents, and generate client-ready outputs.What will your typical day look like?As a technical AI expert, you'll provide hands-on expertise and thought leadership to:Build: Design and implement AI assets for M&A workflows, leveraging state-of-the-art models and techniques.Orchestrate: Develop agentic pipelines (tools + orchestration) that combine structured extraction, RAG, validation, and reasoning with citations and confidence scoring.Evaluate & Safeguard: Create test sets, scoring harnesses, bias/safety checks, and regression suites to ensure robustness of prompts and workflows.Serve & Scale: Build containerized services with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and reliable deployment across dev/test/prod.Observe: Implement tracing, latency/accuracy dashboards, and prompt/version management frameworks for ongoing optimization.Collaborate: Partner with M&A practitioners, engineers, and security teams to turn ambiguous requirements into stable, scalable products.Research & Innovate: Stay at the forefront of Generative AI trends, experiment with new techniques, and contribute to Deloitte's knowledge base.Lead: Mentor junior data scientists/engineers and guide integration of generative models into data pipelines.About the teamOur team specialises in delivering analytically driven insights to guide clients through complex M&A transactions, providing them with a competitive edge. We are looking for ambitious AI professionals with a passion for re-imagining workflows and building production-ready solutions that integrate people, processes, and technology:A minimum 7 years relevant work experience in the development of market leading machine learning and AI productsA degree in Data Science/Computer Science or a related field is preferredApplied experience moving AI use cases into production preferably in an enterprise environmentStrong software engineering foundation/credentials including building production APIs (Fast API preferred), microservices, event-driven design and concurrency/async patternsExpert knowledge of Python and data science/AI libraries and frameworksFluency in data querying and manipulation using cloud-based SQL and NoSQL database technologiesExperience in utilising modern MLOps/DevOps approaches to manage and deploy models/applications at scale on Azure (preferred), AWS or GCPFamiliarity with frontend development (React) would be advantageousExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindsetStrong ethical grounding in data usage and AI implementationJoin Deloitte's M&A Analytics team and help shape the future of M&A transactions with AI driven products that provide real value to our clients.Why Deloitte?At Deloitte, we focus our energy on interesting and impactful work.
