As the Cost Planner, you'll play a crucial role in the project's success. You'll be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost advice throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept right through to final completion. Your work will directly impact the financial performance of this landmark development.This is a site-based role for the duration of the project, after which you'll transition back to our head office in the Valley, where you'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse pipeline of future projects.What You'll Be Doing
- Developing detailed cost plans, estimates, and budgets.
- Preparing cost reports and providing regular financial updates to project management.
- Identifying and evaluating cost risks and opportunities.
- Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Working closely with the project team, designers, and other key stakeholders.
- An experienced Cost Planner with a proven track record on large-scale construction projects.
- Someone with a Tier 1 or large Tier 2 construction background is essential.
- A strong understanding of the Australian construction market.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in cost planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
