Ovolo Woolloomooloo features 100 guest rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, meeting rooms and events spaces, a swimming pool, and Alibi Bar & Kitchen (100% plant-based).The Gig...As the Hotels Maintenance Hand Person, you will be the go-to for any servicing or repairs the hotel may require. You will work independently, along with department managers to ensure the hotel is in top shape. This is a Full-Time role and will require flexibility within your availability. Your responsibilities will include :
- Consistent use of tools and equipment
- Taking all measures to ensure health and safety standards are upheld
- Converse, socialise and engage with other departments to determine needs of the hotel
- Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
- Arrange routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobby and facilities
- Act fast in response to emergency situations
- Manage relationships and liaise with contractors & service providers
- Maintain budgets, expenses & activity logs
