With deep functional and sector expertise, paired with innovative AI-powered technology and an investor mindset, we partner with CEOs, boards, private equity and governments every step of the way.As our Manager, Real Estate Valuation & Advisory based in Melbourne, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a highly experienced and dedicated Living sector team within a national Real Estate Transactions and Delivery practice. This elite opportunity will enable you to elevate and shape your career experience across all of the Living sectors including Built to Rent, Social and Affordable Housing and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation sectors as well as across functions within the EY Parthenon network.Your key responsibilities
  • Assist on and be at the forefront of Living sector valuations and transactions
  • Provide financial and feasibility modelling assistance on a variety of projects and transactions for income-producing and development assets
  • Assist with strategic advice to Government, not for profit and private sector on portfolio strategy and optimization
  • Provide vendor and acquisition due diligence for clients disposing or acquiring real estate assets or portfolios of assets in the living sector
  • Provide market research and trend analysis and contribute to thought leaderships papers
  • Collaborate on new and innovative Living sector practices
  • Support the valuation review and risk assessment for audit clients
  • Utilise real estate technology applications to deliver innovative solutions to our clients
Skills and attributes for success
  • Strong analytical skills, communication skills and keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience as a Qualified Valuer or as an Assistant Valuer
  • A general understanding of the Living Sector
  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, with good report writing and presentation skills
  • Professional accreditation either as a CPV of the API or MRICS is preferred
