We are seeking multiple early career Mechanical Engineers to join our Critical Infrastructure team in Brisbane and Melbourne. As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering engineering projects, utilising your knowledge and expertise to create innovative solutions that influence the infrastructure and energy sectors across the Asia-Pacific region.If you are seeking an opportunity to grow your career and hone your skills in areas such as Design, Simulation, Testing & Validation, Fatigue Analysis and Digital Twin, we'd love to hear from you!In this role you will be able to:

Contribute to diverse projects, from finite element analysis and dynamic test and measurement to development of robotic control systems.
Participate in off-site work.
Stress analysis of machines, machine components and machine structures, using various techniques including SpaceGass, finite element modelling and computational fluid dynamics.
Create client solutions that have a genuine impact on the infrastructure and energy sectors in the Asia-Pacific region.
Collaborate with Critical Infrastructure teams and other disciplines across APAC.
Contribute to writing tenders and proposals.
Write technical reports.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental procedures/standards.

Relevant Education, Experience, and Skills:Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant area of study, or higher degree.
0 to 5 years professional experience
Flexible, team focused individual
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with staff and clients.
Current Class C open license
Current Australian work rights.

Desirable:

Current RPEQ (Mechanical), or able to obtain
Experience working within the engineering or resources sectors
Experience in diagnostic testing
Experience with task scoping and project management
Experience in FEA/CFD/DEM and DSM (Discrete systems modelling or digital twin)
