What you'll doA day in the life of our Loading Dock Operator is incredibly diverse, and you can expect it will involve some of the following responsibilities:

Perform safe and correct operation of Loading Dock functions
Complete all warehousing receipt and dispatch activities
Input of orders/inventory information into electronic systems (e.g. SAP, Navision, etc.) and up to date records are maintained
Perform all manual handling duties using correct equipment
Maintain all equipment and premises in a clean and serviceable condition
Provide professional, efficient and timely customer service to all stakeholders.
Liaise closely with suppliers to manage/monitor inventory controls and distribution of contract waste, materials and consumables.
You will have to adhere to strict compliance requirements due to the client being a leading biotech company, undergo extensive training to gain access to all required areas of the facility

What you'll bring

Knowledge of efficient inventory and stock control principles preferred, but not essential
Knowledge of structured safety, legislative and regulatory frameworks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Tech savvy with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and ability to learn new systems
Ability to multitask and switch between tasks easily
