
Junior Test Analyst

- Requirements analysis and static testing
- Test analysis, test condition identification, design, development, and execution of test cases for system, integration, UAT, and production verification testing
- Test automation development and execution
- Working with business SMEs and development teams on UAT and production verification testing
- Facilitating test case reviews and maintaining requirement traceability
- Recording test results and evidence, including defect management, triage, and retesting
- Identifying regression tests and risks in areas of change
- Test data identification and creation
- Troubleshooting test failures and errors
- Providing test progress reports and updates to the Test Manager
- Consultation with project teams, end-users, and stakeholders to manage assigned test activities
- Providing review feedback on requirements, specifications, and test cases
- Test case creation, execution, and management, along with other tasks as required

- Experience in a hands-on systems integration testing role, web application, mobility and portals.
- Demonstrated experience in manual testing methods and tools such as Jira.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and contextualize functional requirements and to translate the requirements into test cases. Ability to gather more detailed requirement from subject matter experts if required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and narrow down the specific conditions causing failure.
- Ability to learn new concepts.
- Intermediate skills with SQL Server databases.
- Ability to identify product risks for targeted testing.
- Demonstrated accountability for reporting and reconciliation on testing outcomes to the Test Manager and stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and executing automation testing possibly using SmartBear Software.
- Experience working in a large scale/multi-year program environment will be well regarded.
- Experience in data-focused testing including working with large volume of structured data, and validating it through extraction, transformation, and loading processes
- Good understanding of data mapping and reconciliation to check consistency between involved systems
- University degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field.
- High level social and written skills with ability to effectively support colleagues and stakeholders in the project and other interested stakeholders.
- Ability to work either in a large team environment with members of diverse cultures and backgrounds or remote offices connected to Darwin.
- Self-starter with high personal drive and a positive attitude.
