
Animal Attendant

- Daily provision of food, water, cleaning and interaction with cats and dogs.
- Observing animals' behaviour, and their interactions with people and one another.
- Implementing health monitoring procedures and routine animal husbandry activities.
- General facility and equipment cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Maintaining animal records and assisting research staff, as required.
- Experience and confidence in handling cats and dogs.
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated flexibility, effective communication and motivation to contribute to the success of a small team.
- Willingness and ability to undertake physical work, often outside and in all seasons.
- Applicants should have a Certificate in Animal Studies (at minimum).
- Vet nursing experience or qualification would be an advantage.
