About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team at our Wacol site. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability across a high-volume FMCG/meat production facility.This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in fast-paced, food-grade manufacturing environments.What You’ll Be Working On
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance on high-speed automated packaging lines
- Vacuum sealing (Mondini), robotic case packing, pick-and-place robotics
- Fault finding and troubleshooting across a wide range of food processing equipment
- Supporting continuous improvement and operations teams to maximise uptime
- Trade qualified Fitter with experience in FMCG or meat processing environments
- Comfortable working in a clean, chilled, and automated production setting
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
- Experience with robotic systems and automation highly desirable
