If you seek to work for a value-driven business, where you can be recognised for your contributions join Fonterra Australia today.About the opportunityTo fulfil this role effectively and safely, your responsibilities include:· Conducting thorough pre-and post-trip inspections of your truck, ensuring it's in optimal condition, and promptly reporting any maintenance or repair needs.· Adhering to all relevant transportation regulations and company policies, especially those concerning safety, cleanliness, and quality control.· Operating your truck safely and efficiently to collect milk from farms and deliver it to designated receiving facilities.· Maintaining accurate records of your trips, including detailed Runsheets and heavy vehicle work diaries as needed.· Identifying and promptly reporting any potential risks, incidents, or near misses encountered during your travels.· Representing Fonterra positively by providing exceptional customer service and acting as a brand ambassador in all your interactions.These responsibilities ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of milk while prioritizing safety and professionalism throughout the process.About you· Must Have an HC License: You need a valid HC license to drive trucks for us.· Must Know How to Drive Heavy Vehicles: You should have experience driving big trucks to do this job.· Care About Safety: It's important to be serious about safety and tell us if you see any dangers or close calls.· Act Professional and Be Friendly: You'll interact with our customers and suppliers, so be polite and helpful.· Work Hard and Be Flexible: You'll need to be reliable and able to work different shifts as needed.· Be Ready to Learn and Stay Positive: Stay eager to learn new things and take on challenges with a positive attitude.· Talk Well with Others: Being able to communicate clearly with your team, bosses, and farmers is important for teamwork.Are you excited about this opportunity but may only meet some requirements?At Fonterra, we are committed to building a diverse workplace and, therefore, open to looking at applicants with excellent transferable skills.
