- Building and maintaining strong and effective working relationships with stakeholders and local health districts.
- Designing, commissioning and delivering key childhood obesity prevention programs based on the best local, national and international evidence.
- Analysing evidence, data and stakeholder views to provide strategic advice to senior decision makers.
- Proactively identifying and effectively managing stakeholder risks and communications.
- Scoping, planning and managing the delivery of the agreed program of work within required timeframe and budget.
- Working collaboratively with others in CPH to implement statewide prevention programs.
- Strong organisational skills and capacity to successfully manage competing priorities and to deliver high quality products within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Experience in managing change and communications with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and translate complex and technical information accurately and effectively with diverse stakeholders, to achieve outcomes.
- Experience designing, implementing and managing large-scale health promotion programs to deliver health outcomes, using evidence, critical thinking and partnerships.
- How do you go about preparing advice to senior decision makers when delivering change? What types of information do you consider? How do you ensure the advice is correct and stakeholder views are fairly represented? Please provide an example.

- This is a temporary position up to 11 months.
- This role will require the employee to work principally in the office located in St Leonards, NSW 2065.
