  • Support all the activities for the effective implementation of HSE management system.
  • Maintain relevant licenses required by the local government for the facility operations.
  • Coordinate the fire protection system maintenance and the required licensing.
  • Liaising with relevant governmental bodies as required.
  • Ensure work activities comply to local regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments with operations for work activities.
  • Identify hazards in workplace and ensure that control measures are in place.
  • Ensure that incidents (e.g. near hit, property damages, personnel injuries) are reported.
  • Coordinate with relevant parties to conduct incident investigation and root cause analysis. Review and ensure that corrective and preventive actions are duly implemented.
  • Identify near hits and ensure corrective measures are taken.
  • Monitor non conformances and its closing status.
  • Provide/arrange HSE training as instructed.
  • Ensure all observation cards are properly submitted into the system, tracked and completed.
  • Conduct safety and housekeeping inspections.
  • Provide support for Toolbox Talk.
  • Monitor lifting equipment inspection status and update.
  • Provide HSE Induction training for new employees.
  • Maintain HSE Statistics and report to relevant parties.
  • Participate and assist local management with the conduct of monthly safety meeting.
  • Update and disseminate emergency response procedures.
  • Control of company HSE documents and records.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by HSE Manager and local management.
  • Support Facility HSE Representative Program.
  • Support Company Environment, Social and Governance practices and reporting.
  • Review and ensure that only approved chemical (with relevant SDS) is used in the facility.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified ISO 45001 auditor.
  • 1 - 3 years' experience in related field with a demonstrated record of successful management.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Familiar with local legislation.
  • Should be familiar with managing workover claims and Return to Work Programs.
  • Ability to work independently.
