  • Ongoing Part Time
  • Monday to Friday, 8.10am to 9.00am and 3:10pm to 4.00pm
  • $12,897 per annum (pro-rata) + 12% superannuation (annualised salary agreement)
School Crossing Supervisor's play a much-valued role in our community where you’ll help provide a road safe environment for children during peak times.We have a Supervisor opportunity at our Foster school crossing, however you may also be asked to work at different locations across the Shire from time to time.Some flexibility is available for morning and / or afternoon shifts. However, ideally you will be available to work every Monday through to Friday from 8:15am – 9:00am and 3:05pm - 3:50pm during school terms.Further information about becoming a School Crossing Supervisor can be found here:ABOUT YOUIf you are a positive and outgoing person, we invite you to become the familiar face that children, motorists and pedestrians remember and trust at local school crossings.To be considered for this important job, you need to:
  • Be medically fit.
  • Have your own transport.
  • Be of good character.
  • Relate well to children.
  • Be able to talk to children's parents and teachers.
  • Be available to work for 1.5 hours per day, generally between 8.00am and 9.00am, and 3.00pm to 4.00pm on weekdays during school terms.
  • Able to obtain a Working with Children Check.
  • Able to obtain a satisfactory Police Check.
