
Senior Security Engineer

- Developing and documenting technical design solutions for physical and electronic security in accordance with Australian Government Physical Security, and other site-specific client requirements.
- Providing security design and compliance advice to engineering and architecture teams on key projects across Transport, Corrections and Government clients, among others.
- Providing detailed design documentation that fits the needs of our clients and communities, including:
- Physical security zone plans
- Electronic security plans
- Electronic Access Control Systems
- Intruder Detection Systems and Security Alarm Systems
- Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and Video Analytics Systems
- Integrated electronic security networks.
- Collaborating in an integrated 3D design environment
- Delivering project solutions to program and budget
- Building and maintaining trust-based, long-term professional relationships with clients across all levels.
- Mentoring junior security professionals in the team
- Opportunities to develop your project leadership and management skills.
- Electrical, electronics, ICT, telecommunications or computer systems engineering background - desired.
- More than 5 years' experience in security consulting ; advising on physical and electronic security, including design, developing reports and specifications.
- Passion for helping organisations assess and deliver security, risk, strategy and technology.
- Proactive, professional, collaborative and personable approach. Possess a client mindset, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely.
- A current NSW Class 2A Security Consultant Licence
- Highly desirable:
- Familiarity with Defence security requirements
- SCEC and Security construction compliance audits and inspections
- Security qualifications or certificates (such as ASIS International CPP or PSP)
- Experience in the Revit modelling environment.
