We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse to join the team at Pormpuraaw Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC). This role is suited to a nurse with strong acute care background and the ability to manage emergencies in a rural and remote health setting.Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an acute care setting
- ALS (Advanced Life Support)
- PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Triage qualification
- MEC (Maternity Emergency Care)
- REC (Remote Emergency Care)

Pormpuraaw PHCC provides primary health care and acute care services to the local community. Nurses in this role will be expected to work across emergency presentations, triage, and stabilisation before retrieval, as well as acute inpatient and community health care.Fun Fact
