Bring your brilliance.About the role:The National Relations and Policy Directorate develops and delivers high-quality, strategic policy advice to support executive, Chief Executive and Ministerial participation in intergovernmental matters and forums.We aim to have a positive impact on the national education reform agenda to shape and contribute to better outcomes for South Australian children and young people.The Policy Adviser, Intergovernmental Relations (IGR), is responsible for providing timely advice and research in relation to school education.The Policy Adviser, IGR, will contribute to the broader National Relations and Policy team by ensuring that high quality briefings and presentations are prepared for meetings, out-of-session matters and other intergovernmental business to support sound and informed decision-making.Qualifications:Essential: Nil.Desirable: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.Special conditions:The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
