The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Root Cause Analysis specialist to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence Team within Assets Technical Solutions Department (ATSD). ATSD is a multi-disciplinary organization with interface to technical, and in some cases business, support requirements of Domestic Refining & NGL Fractionation Admin Area and This Company Affiliates. Its function caters mainly to the technical needs of Global Manufacturing, operating facilities management, and driving the performances of operating facilities in executing corporate programs and initiatives towards operational excellence and value creation.Your primary role will be to provide technical support to operating facilities, and talent development of new Engineers. You will develop & conduct special studies and analysis for RCA & defect elimination processes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine and implement the correct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology according to predetermined criteria.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of a detailed RCA process.
  • Facilitate or lead major investigations utilizing RCA techniques.
  • Participate in conducting training workshops and provide RCA Practitioner-level training to relevant personnel.
  • Facilitate threat identification workshops to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop databases for defects and threats to retain information for wider utilization and reference.
Requirements:
  • Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of 15 years' experience in the RCA and/or Defect Elimination discipline.
  • Preferably hold certifications such as Black-belt Six Sigma & TapRoot.
  • Demonstrate analytical, methodical, chronological, and open-minded approaches.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and team-building skills to effectively drive and liaise with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of change management and problem-solving techniques.
