As part of the Remote Teaching Service, this role offers a unique professional experience supported by a range of incentives.Find out more about our school by visiting or .The RoleThis role will consist of 0.6 FTE as a Health and Physical Education (HPE) Teacher and the remaining 0.4 FTE allocated to other teaching roles, such as relief teaching, dependant on the organisational needs of the school.Onslow School is seeking a dynamic and passionate HPE teacher to join our team, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Pre-primary to Year 6. This position offers a chance to positively influence student wellbeing and development through strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum.We seek a candidate who brings leadership across all areas of HPE, with a particular focus on Fundamental Movement Skills in the Early Years as part of our response to Australian Early Development Census (AEDC) data. The successful applicant will ideally be committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and will work closely with staff to support whole-school health initiatives, including protective behaviours and wellbeing education.In addition to teaching responsibilities, the HPE specialist at Onslow School coordinates major school events such as athletics and swimming carnivals.
