Proudly supporting the families of Alfred Hospital staff since 2004, our centre provides care for up to 60 children across nursery, toddler, and preschool rooms, operating Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. Conveniently located near St Kilda Road and Commercial Road, we're just a short walk from Prahran train station and easily accessible by tram.We offer rich learning experiences through regular excursions to local favourites like Fawkner Park, the Shrine of Remembrance, and the local library, while also celebrating diverse cultural events and fostering sustainable practices with natural materials and minimal plastic use. If you're looking for a warm, professional, and community-focused environment to build your career, KU Alfred is the place for you.The RoleWe are looking for a Diploma Qualified educator to join the team on a permanent full-time basis 8 hours a day on Monday to Friday.Of course, you will need:
  • Relevant experience
  • An ACCEQA recognised Diploma in Early Childhood,
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
