They provide food and groceries to those in need, deliver nutrition education, and advocate for the elimination of hunger and food insecurity.About the Role:
The Branch Manager position is responsible for the operational management of the organisations Perth branch, leading and driving a high-performance team and managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and distribution of quality food to the local community. In addition, the position is also responsible for liaising with a range of stakeholders to drive the growth of the branch with an emphasis on identifying continuous improvement opportunities and efficiencies whilst maintaining service excellence.Job Requirements:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will possess the following experienced, skills and attributes:Essential:
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role, reflecting strong operational skills
- Sound knowledge of supply chain management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with staff and negotiate, influence and liaise with a range of diverse individuals and stakeholders
- Proven ability to develop and maintain meaningful partnerships aligned with organisational outcomes
- Experience and ability to work in a busy and high-pressured environment
- Strong customer service focus and commitment to delivering a high-quality service
- Strong skills in MS Office suite of products
- Qualifications in Business Management, Warehouse or related field
- Experience working in a not for profit (NFP) or community organisation
- Project planning, time management, problem solving and evaluation skills
- Experience working with First Nations peoples
If successful for the position, be willing to obtain and provide:
- Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident with valid Australian working rights
- Current and valid WA Drivers' License
- National Police clearance
- Medical assessment of current health
