Location: Darwin, AustraliaEmployment Type: Contract – 12 months (with possible 12-month extension)Eligibility: Open to all candidates with a valid Australian working visaAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced GIS and DMS Specialist to join our team for a 12-month engagement, with the possibility of a further 12-month extension. This role will support the successful delivery of key projects including Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), Utility Network (UN) model implementations, Common Information Model (CIM) integration, and Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProject manage CIM and DMS workstreams from initiation to deliveryDevelop essential project artefacts, including project plans, risk registers, and communication plansLead procurement activities, including RFT development, vendor evaluation, and contract onboardingManage stakeholder requirements gathering and produce functional and non-functional specificationsProvide governance reporting and ensure project complianceContribute to the preparation of business cases to support strategic decision-makingSkills & ExperienceProven expertise in GIS and DMS projectsStrong background in CIM integration and Utility Network model implementationsDemonstrated experience in project management within IT or engineering domainsProficiency in preparing procurement documentation (RFT, vendor selection, onboarding)Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAbility to produce clear project documentation and governance reportContract DetailsTerm: 12 months, with an option to extend for an additional 12 monthsLocation: Darwin, NT (on-site work may be required)Visa Requirement: Must hold a valid Australian working visaHow to ApplyIf you are a motivated GIS and DMS professional seeking a long-term project opportunity in Darwin, we would love to hear from you.
