As Assistant Store Manager, you'll support and lead a passionate team of 15 and be responsible for all aspects of the store's success from sales performance and customer experience to training, visual merchandising, and operational excellence.You'll create a motivating, collaborative and high-achieving store culture that reflects the brand's values: authenticity, quality, and family.Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example in delivering warm, knowledgeable, high-standard service
- Empower and develop your team through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
- Drive KPIs and achieve financial goals across sales, wages, stock, and shrinkage
- Maintain exceptional merchandising and store presentation
- Uphold a culture of compliance, safety, and operational excellence
- Be a brand ambassador and nurture supplier and customer relationships
- Previous experience in a high-volume retail environment
- A customer-first mindset and natural leadership presence
- Passion for homewares, food, and creating memorable retail experiences
- Strong commercial acumen and an eye for product presentation
- Confidence in managing budgets, rosters, and performance outcomes
