Field Service Diesel Mechanic

- Carry out on-site servicing, repairs and maintenance across a range of mobile plant and equipment, specifically pumps & generators
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, dismantle and repair engines, hydraulics and more
- Perform scheduled maintenance in line with safety and environmental standards
- Ensure all equipment is "Ready for Hire" and up to Kennards' Quality Operational Management standards
- Represent the Kennards Hire brand with professionalism and pride during customer interactions
- Qualified tradesperson (Diesel Mechanic, Fitter, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Small Engine Mechanic or similar)
- Ideally, you'll have experience working on pumps and generators, and servicing petrol, diesel, and electric-powered equipment
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in a mechanical service or field service environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confident using digital tools (email, mobile devices)
- Valid driver's licence and physically fit for field work
- Strong communication and time management skill
