The role is essential for operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization.Responsibilities:
- Manage contracts end to end, own the renewals, raise PO's etc
- Lead the end-to-end management of software assets across all business units.
- Maintain a centralized software asset repository and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and implement governance policies and procedures related to software usage and compliance.
- Monitor and manage software license compliance to minimize risk and avoid legal exposure.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate with vendors during external audits.
- Support contract negotiations by providing insights into historical usage, entitlements, and vendor performance.
- Partner with IT security to ensure software assets meet security and compliance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in SAM tools, reporting capabilities, and processes.
- Experience in in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or related field.
- Understanding of systems
- Experience with SAM tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Experience managing vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial sector (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
- Certifications such as CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager), ITIL, or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a large, regulated organization (preferably in banking or finance).
