As a key member of our Food & Beverage leadership team, the Assistant Outlet Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of our venue. Working closely with the Outlet Manager, you will lead by example, set high service standards, and foster a positive, guest-focused culture.This full-time position is ideal for someone with a can-do attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences. Previous experience in a similar leadership or operational role is preferred, but a genuine commitment to service excellence is essential. Flexibility to work all shifts including PM shifts and weekends is required.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the designated Food & Beverage outlet
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Lead, motivate, and support a high-performing team
- Assist with recruitment, training, and development of staff
- Create and optimise rosters to meet service and budget targets
- Drive revenue opportunities through promotions and upselling
- Maintain cost control to maximise profitability
- Ensure compliance with service standards, policies, and legal requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar hospitality or operational leadership role
- Proven ability to perform in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Bar and barista skills highly desirable
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Experience in rostering, ordering, and stock control
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Immaculate personal presentation and professionalism
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Current Responsible Management of a Licenced Venue certification (desirable)
