About the roleMater Private Hospital Bundaberg has several exciting opportunity for compassionate Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to work within our Medical and Surgical ward.Full-time, Part-time or casual contracts can all be considered. Education and training opportunities are available.Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg has been caring for the people of Bundaberg and surrounds since 1946. Our 59-bed facility is dedicated to supporting our community to live happy and healthy lives. The hospital is equipped with four operating theatres, a day surgery unit and offers a full complement of medical specialist services.Salary Range: $34.84 - $37.10 per hour (EN) (+ 25% casual loading if applicable) + superannuation and access to generous salary packaging of up to $15,900 per annumWhat you'll be doingAs an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse within, you will provide patient-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty. Core responsibilities include supporting patients in the activities of daily living, assisting in meeting basic human needs, and recognising the normal and abnormal assessment, intervention and evaluation of patient health and functional status with ongoing communication with the Registered Nurse.Flexible shifts are available. However, candidates must be available across ALL shift types, including early, late, night, and weekend shifts.About youIdeally, you will have prior nursing experience, but new graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered.You will also:
Have prior experience in medication management;
Have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with no notations;
Be able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and recognise priority tasks;
Work within a multi-disciplinary team environment with a focus on exceptional patient-centred care and customer service;
Digital and computer proficiency; and
You must be able to be rostered over seven days a week for day, afternoon and night shifts.
