In this role you will be responsible for providing leadership in a strong safety culture and safety performance (both process safety and personal safety) across the Terminal for Project support and Major maintenance activities. Regional support for works would also be required at different times.You will also be part of the Operations team for the delivery of day to day operations,Including ship receipts, managing truck gantry loading and product transfers, and an on call roster for night/weekend relief. Completing regular maintenance inspections along with break down support. We are a 24 hr operation and this requires some degree of weekend work and night work.Responsibilities
Project support

Ensure effective implementation of HSSE-critical processes
Project support and supervision for all site based works with regional support also
Develop and deliver, Permit to work, Lock out Tag out procedures and safe practices around gas detection.
Assist in safe execution of maintenance works by reviewing contractor JHA’s, prepare safe work permits, conduct gas testing, and work clearances, LOTO as required.
Support Contractor engagement and their site work activities
Support project / maintenance planning
Promote culture of ‘Beyond Goal Zero’ showing visible leadership in HSSE, particularly in work insights, learning huddles, assurance activity.

Operations support

Undergo training to become competent as a Shore Officer and Testing Officer (during employment).
Provide supervision to road tanker drivers for gantry product loading. Assist with inducting drivers, assessing their competence at gantry operations and conducting vehicle inspections.
Conduct daily checks of gantry equipment
Conduct routine operational surveillance within the terminal, including tank water draining, bund surveillance, gantry surveillance, pipeline and pump surveillance, fire system surveillance, and operational functionality testing.
Assist in safe execution of maintenance works by reviewing contractor JHA’s, prepare safe work permits, conduct gas testing, and work clearances, LOTO as required.
Assist with supervision of contractors to ensure controls in permit to work are implemented appropriately.
Follow processes for raising maintenance or inspection requests for equipment
Manage deliveries of fuel from the terminal to ships (bunkering).
Assist with executing annual HSSE Plan actions
Raise incidents reports, assist with investigations and identify remedial actions

Qualifications

Exemplary HSSE focus with experience in safe work systems and demonstrated commitment to beyond goal zero, HSSE compliance and continuous improvement.
Sound supervisory skills to maintain a strong safety focus and outcomes in our project work and daily operations.
Experience in managing an operational team in high risk environment.
Hold a trade skill (preferred but not essential), in either mechanical or instrument/electrical
Lead permit issuer, work clearance officer, AGT, LOTO (to be obtained during employment).
Strong health, safety, security and environment mindset
Familiarity with maintenance work order processes (opportunity to learn during employment).
Strong communication skills
Positive and flexible attitude (after hours support).
Full drivers licence
