Location: Remote (Anywhere in the Philippines - Virtual Support).
Years of experience: 3 + years of clinical practice
Qualification: Master’s in psychology, counselling or equivalent
Shift Timing: 5 days per week, general shift 9.30 am to 6.30 pm
Languages required: English and TagalogWhat you will do:Workplace Options have exciting opportunities for wellbeing counsellors. The wellbeing counsellor is expected to conduct 1-1 and group counselling sessions and training to employees as well as providing crisis support when needed. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about providing counselling support to our clients’ employees.Responsibilities:
- Provides an integrated EAP service consisting of intake and assessment, support, triage, referral, clinical case management and crisis management.
- Delivers short-term counselling services in a responsive, efficient, ethical, and professional manner. Maintaining client confidentiality as expected by ethical standards.
- Adheres to the applicable ethical, therapeutic, and legal standards, which govern service delivery, as well as policies, procedures, and laws, which apply to the organization as appropriate.
- Refers clients to appropriate resources and thoroughly maintains clinical documentation in computerized system for follow-up regarding clinical and work-life services.
- Completes assessments with clients expressing various issues (e.g. substance abuse, mental health, and family concerns) that may be impacting work performance in order to make a clinical recommendation.
- Conducts Critical Incident support.
- Provides consultative support to managers.
- Facilitates trainings within scope of practice.
- Implements strategic activities for the organization.
- Undertakes additional tasks as identified by Clinical Management.
- Master’s degree or diploma in Psychology, Counselling, or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years post-graduate counselling experience.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Tagalog
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Experience working with trauma and Critical Incidents.
- Training and presentation skills.
- EAP knowledge and experience working with legal/HR teams preferable but not necessary.
