Together we’re building hope and possibility for all.Find out more and .Your opportunityWe’re looking for passionate and committed individuals to join our team in Dubbo and Broken Hill, to play a vital role in creating safer futures for women, children, and families. These positions offer the opportunity to be at the heart of meaningful behaviour change, working directly with men who have used violence or abuse in intimate partner relationships to help them take responsibility and make lasting changes.Through Mannin’ Up, a registered Men’s Behaviour Change Program, you’ll guide participants in recognising the impact of their actions, breaking cycles of violence, and building the skills, strategies, and self-awareness needed to foster respectful relationships. The program also supports men in understanding respect, healthy parenting after violence, and developing attitudes that contribute to safer, more supportive homes.Your key responsibilities will be to:
  • Deliver registered men’s behaviour change programs in both group and individual settings.
  • Conduct thorough and robust assessments of family violence and risk factors, creating individualised support plans.
  • Liaise with the Department of Communities and Justice, Police, Courts and other support services as required.
  • Work alongside the Women and Children’s Advocate to ensure the safety of women and children.
Requirements for success
  • Relevant Qualification and / or relevant experience in the Community services industry
  • Experience working in the community service sector, particularly with DV or Justice and a thorough understanding of the impacts of violence within intimate partner relationships.
  • Accredited Training in Men’s Behaviour Change Program or willing to complete provided training.
  • Experience in the delivery of group-based intervention programs
  • Interviewing skills and experience in the use of Motivational Interactions (favourable)
  • Good communications skills both written and spoken.
  • Current NSW Driving License
