We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our growing team within our Fulton Hogan Infrastructure Services business. You will join an experienced team of like-minded professionals who put Safety, Quality and Compliance at the forefront of everything they do. This role will be based at our Laverton or Lara plants.In this role you'll be responsible for:
  • Performing a range of construction and maintenance/ refurbishment tasks on and fixed and/or mobile plant
  • The identification of defective or worn mechanical components or equipment
  • Fault finding and repair optimisation
  • Utilising precision measuring instruments to check parts for accuracy and fit
  • Working in a safe, professional, and timely manner, following all standards and procedures.
How you'll connect to the role:
  • Experience as a qualified Mechanical Fitter with sound Mechanical knowledge
  • Construction Induction White Card and Current Drivers Licence
  • Current Working at Heights ticket and Confined Space is desirable
  • Have a strong understanding of safety and PPE requirements in an industrial environment
