Highly relational staff members foster a positive workplace environment where wellbeing and support is prioritised and modelled across all departments, under the leadership of a committed and engaged Executive Team.We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Lead Teacher Learning Support – Primary to commence Term 3, 2025.The Lead Teacher Learning Support – Primary will: - In consultation with teachers, prepare individual education plans (IEPs) for students with disability and additional needs and monitor their effective implementation.
- Provide advice and support to teachers on matters related to specific disabilities.
- Support teachers and monitor the accuracy of the NCCD reporting process.
- Plan and develop intervention programs for support staff to deliver.
- Oversee the implementation of specific learning support programs such as MiniLIT, MACQLIT and STAMS for students with disability and additional needs.
- Support students individually and in groups.
- Contribute to partnerships with parents of students with disability and allied health professionals.
- Work collaboratively to ensure inclusion, access and participation to maximise learning outcomes for students with disability and additional needs.
- Plan for and oversee the work, timetable and wellbeing of the Primary Teachers’ Aide team.
Criteria:· NESA Teacher Accreditation and valid WWCC.· Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with students, teachers and parents. · Experience working with students with disability and additional needs.· A comprehensive understanding of the DDA, DSE, NCCD, and IEPs.· Commitment to and passion for excellence in Christian education.· Effective time management, organisation and planning skills.· Specific qualification/s in learning support preferred; however, applicants with a passion in this area are also encouraged to apply.Essential: The successful candidate will be a committed Christian, actively involved in their local Protestant Christian church and be able to provide a written reference from their current Protestant Church minister.If you would like further information about this exciting opportunity, please contact Liz Day on 9644 5144 or email lday@rpcs.nsw.edu.au.Closing date: 4 July, 2025
