EY-Parthenon Strategy is looking for a Strategy Consultant with 2+ years of experience to join our growing strategy practice as a Business Analyst or Associate in Sydney or Melbourne.
  • Work alongside high-performing teams in a boutique-style environment backed by EY's global network.
  • Support our clients to solve their most pressing challenges.
  • Contribute to projects that shape corporate direction, resolve commercial issues, and create lasting value.
As a Strategy Consultant, you'll:
  • Partner with senior executives across leading companies and government to tackle their most critical strategic questions and shape their organisation's future direction
  • Work in small, high-involvement teams with direct Partner exposure, contributing to problem definition and owning important workstreams
  • Use fact-based, data-driven analysis to extract insights, then synthesise them into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Gain broad exposure across industries and public/private sectors, without being pigeon-holed, on engagements in Australia and internationally.
  • Develop fast through our hands-on, collaborative approach to work, supported by our structured training and development program.
This is a hybrid position based in either Warrang - Sydney or Naarm - Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.Skills and attributes for success
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting, business analysis, or corporate finance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage senior-level audiences.
  • Ability to create clear, crisp, persuasive presentation materials.
  • A team player who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Curiosity and an “ideas-intensive” mindset that values insight over convention
Ideally, you'll also have:
  • Experience in managing project teams and running strategy engagements.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization platforms.
  • Humility and a growth mindset-always learning, open to feedback, and invested in your personal development
