About MeHello! I am a 25-year-old individual with BPD, ADHD, PDHD and complex trauma living in Morphettville.I am looking for a self-reliant Support Workers to assist me in achieving my NDIS goals. I enjoy remaining active and busy, like to ride my BMX bike. I am looking for staff to support me who and wants staff calm in nature.The RoleAn opportunity is available to join my team of wonderful support workers who help to facilitate my daily life.Due to some of the challenges I face, I have difficulties regulating my emotions and problem solving. In such situations, I would like you to be emphatic, patient and listen to me. It would be great if you can support me to problem solve. When I am heighted, I tend to talk about a topic repeatedly and raise my voice. Please recognize my condition and understand my situation.To be successful in my team, you will need to be consistent and reliable and highly passionate. I require assistance with day to day living which includes household tasks such as washing, support with community accesses such as shopping and attend appointments, and cooking and/or meal preparation.Key responsibilities:
  • Support me to achieve my goals to reach my potential in all facets of my life
  • Actively engage in person centred active support
  • Undertake activities in a specialised area of supports
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Strong communication skills with my family members
  • Assist in maintaining high standards to the household
  • Assist with meal preparation
  • Personal care
  • Engage in participation in the community
ShiftsI am looking for someone to support me on a Permanent Part Time basis based in Morphettville SA 5211.The ideal candidate will have:
  • NDIS Worker Screening or DHS Disability related check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current Driver's Licence and use of private car
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or other relevant qualification
  • Medication administration
