This role and team support key internal stakeholders with their business activities through the provision of financial information, insights and support to ensure alignment between the operational business plans and overall Fund strategy. In this role you will provide a single source for the provision of reporting and analysis relating to the investment portfolio that can be delivered to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.Key duties include but not limited to;Oversee the preparation of timely, comprehensive, and meaningful/insightful reports for key stakeholders and governance forums across the Fund, including the Board & Investment Committee.Oversee the production of information for external stakeholders to support the growth activities of the Fund such as research houses, tender consultants, external advisors and call centre.Develop the strategy for the delivery of an effective reporting and insights capability that meets the need of key internal and external stakeholders.As a member of the Investment Operations & Reporting Leadership team contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic plans which position the Fund to continue to grow, derive maximum return on assets, capture the benefits of scale and support key stakeholders achieve their objectives.Ensure policies, frameworks and processes are designed for the delivery of reporting and insights required in each location to support the activities performed in those locations.Coordinate the provision of advice and support for new activities planned to be undertaken across the Fund.Oversee the processes and systems to capture key information for all reporting obligations to ensure its accuracy and timeliness.Oversee the maintenance and updating of models and business rules for the delivery of key performance, risk, and attribution information.Provide advice and guidance regarding improvements to the control processes within the team including periodic operational reviews to ensure compliance with internal controls.What You'll NeedAdvanced analytical skills, including the ability to identify when data and analysis is materially incorrect, and obtain solutions;Demonstrated highly effective people management skills with ability to lead and develop a team to high performance.Ability to challenge and communicate with influence.Advanced influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skillsExperience in leading initiatives to drive change.Advanced ability to understand business objectives and drivers and how these translate into financial measures;Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas, perspectives and issues to senior management;Ability to coordinate tasks, set priorities and operate independently;Ability to develop and implement strategies to address a variety of opportunities and problems.Life at AustralianSuperAustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
